INSTALLING THE SYSTEMS THAT DEFINE BUILDINGS
INSTALLING THE SYSTEMS THAT DEFINE BUILDINGS
We work with general contractors, glazing and facade contractors, construction managers and building owners on new construction, retrofit and replacement packages—with experienced field leadership and clear accountability from first review through closeout.
Unitized and stick-built curtain wall, window wall, structural glazing, reglazing and exterior glazing replacement.
Punched and ribbon windows, commercial storefront, glazed entrances, doors and related framing systems.
Metal panels, frames, canopies, sunshades, feature elements and custom architectural assemblies forming part of the facade and exterior wall.
SORAL brings field and commercial leadership together from the first review. Marian Kukhar leads technical assessment, installation planning and field execution. Ed Burn leads commercial management, reporting and project administration.
Both remain directly involved as the work moves from proposal through mobilization, delivery and closeout.
Access, sequencing, labour and installation methodology inform the scope and pricing before the package reaches site.
Technical and commercial decisions remain connected as the work moves from planning into field execution.
Progress, changes, documentation and invoicing are managed as the work advances, carrying the package through deficiencies and closeout.
SORAL combines senior field and technical leadership with experienced operational, financial and commercial management.

Thunder Bay, Ontario | 2023–2025
Superintendent: Marian Kukhar
Led site operations for the full architectural glazing and metals package on the new 345-bed correctional complex.
The work combined high-security detention windows with multi-storey structural glazing, unitized and stick-built curtain wall, aluminum canopies, sunshades and metal-panel cladding.
Toronto, Ontario | 2021–2023
Superintendent: Marian Kukhar
Led glazing site operations across a 1.7-million-square-foot provincial government complex comprising four office towers.
The program included the installation of approximately 6,000 energy-efficient windows, coordinated with restoration of the heritage limestone facade.
Vaughan, Ontario | 2021–2023
Superintendent: Marian Kukhar
Led glazing delivery for the 290,000-square-foot LEED Silver headquarters, comprising a six-storey tower and three-storey wing.
The scope included highly transparent unitized curtain wall, double-glazed structural glass, cantilevered glass-fin walls and feature architectural glazing for the assembly hall.
These examples demonstrate the range of Marian’s field leadership: high-security institutional work, large-scale heritage reconstruction and technically complex new construction.
His wider experience spans healthcare, advanced manufacturing, occupied-building recladding, commercial and mixed-use development, remote logistics and winter installation—work requiring disciplined planning, controlled access, exacting standards, complex sequencing and close coordination.
That experience shapes SORAL’s approach to constructability, labour planning, sequencing, site logistics and installation quality.
